Le Mâchon
Forget avocado toast and artisanal lattes.
We’re doing breakfast the Lyonnais way—which is to say, we’re eating like 19th-century silk weavers who have a long day of manual labor ahead of them.
What to expect:
Charcuterie at Sunrise: Because nothing says "Good Morning" like a plate of saucisson and pâté.
The "Holy Trinity": Meat, potatoes and enough garlic to keep vampires—and coworkers—at a safe distance.
Wine for Breakfast: It’s not "drinking early," it’s cultural immersion. We’ll be pouring plenty of Red and White to wash down the morning's glory.
Zero Judgment: This is a celebration of conviviality, calories, and the French refusal to accept that breakfast should be light.
When: Saturday 27th of June, 11am to 2pm.
Where: La Cave obviously, where the wine flows faster than the coffee.
How much: 600$, including full meal and free flow wine.
Warning: May cause spontaneous outbursts of French folk songs and an immediate need for a 3-hour nap.
